If you look at the diamond more carefully or under a microscope, perhaps you will see that the diamond is clouded and there are unclear areas. This kind of diamond necklace has lesser diamonds quality. Most of the people want diamonds with perfect clarity. These diamonds will be the expensive ones.

The diamond carat means the size of the diamond. The larger the diamond size, higher goes the price. But if you are looking for diamond necklaces, maybe carat is not very important.
